(1) Articulation Pathways Agreements between the University and other education providers ensure that pathways into (2) This Policy sets out the University's principles for developing academic pathways agreements with other education providers. (3) The Policy applies to Articulation Pathways Agreements with higher education providers and vocational education and training providers, whether in Australia or overseas, and whether public or private. (4) The Policy should be read in conjunction with the Credit for Prior Learning Policy which establishes limits on the amount of Credit that can be applied to (5) The following definitions apply for the purposes of this policy. (6) The University is committed to providing and expanding pathways to assist students, who have previously successfully completed studies elsewhere and who otherwise qualify for admission and have no known limitations that would be expected to impede their progression and completion, to enter an appropriate (7) The University is also committed, where practicable and by means of similar pathways, to assisting its own graduates and enrolled students to enrol in a (8) The University will enter into articulation pathways agreements with approved education partners which set out the pathways arrangements. (9) Credit in an articulation pathway is determined in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Qualifications Pathways Policy, taking into account the comparability and equivalence of the learning outcomes; (10) For international articulation pathways agreements a rationale must be provided for the award of Credit. (11) To assure the quality of the articulation pathways covered by agreements, the University will periodically monitor and evaluate their effectiveness and review their currency. (12) The University will provide to students awarded Credit under this Policy towards a (13) An Articulation Pathways Agreement can only be established with an approved external education partner.
