Summary of Changes from Previous Version
- a greater focus on digital accessibility
- clarifying the University's responsibilities
- outlining commitment to continuous improvement in relation to accessibility
- reflect the changed responsibility within the University structure for Workplace Reasonable Adjustment Plans.
The policy has also been updated to align with current language used both within the sector and the University, including a change to the name of the following documents - Academic Reasonable Adjustment Plan (previously Academic Integration Plan), Placement Reasonable Adjustment Plan (previously Placement Integration Plan) and Workplace Reasonable Adjustment Plan (previously Reasonable Adjustment Plan).
This Policy has been proposed to be included under a new Head Policy - Diversity, Inclusion, Respect and Equal Opportunity as a recommendation of the Policy Refresh Project. This will be considered at the next review.
