Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Excellence Awards Policy, and corresponding Excellence Awards Procedures, have been updated to reflect the inclusion of new awards and updates to existing awards within the current schedule of University’s Excellence Awards. The changes include: the inclusion of the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Sustainability Impact Award; the removal of the following two awards, which are being retired: Research Excellence through Partnership Award and Excellence in Research Interdisciplinary Group Award; the inclusion of the following four Awards to replace the two retired Research awards: Excellence in Research Impact Award, Research Excellence through Industry Collaboration or Partnership Award, Excellence in Research Leadership and Development Award, and Excellence in Research Management Award.

Amendments to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Teaching Excellence Awards have also been made to align the Excellence in Indigenous Teaching Awards more closely with the national Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) awards.
