Summary of Changes from Previous Version

20 May 2022 – Delete the note and link to the ‘Policy Suspension or Variation Instrument – International Student Admissions Temporary Arrangements’ that was expired for this document on 15 May 2022.


The administrative amendments to this Vice-Chancellor approved document are submitted for approval under Delegation HH15. The policy has been updated to reflect the new nomenclature of the Student Management System (SMS). The terminology changes (as relevant) include:


‘course’ to ‘program’; ‘unit’ to ‘subject’; ‘teaching session’ to ‘term’; ‘key program’ to ‘major’; ‘specialisation’ to ‘major’; ‘sub-major’ to minor’; ‘advanced standing’ to ‘Credit for Prior Learning’; ‘special consideration’ to ‘Disruption to Studies’; and ‘enrol in units’ to ‘register in subjects’.
