Summary of Changes from Previous Version

6 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – update the placeholder for Academic Senate from the Division-based record to the Committee-based record.


3 May 2021 – System Fix – Update the placeholder for the Academic Planning and Courses Approval Committee from the divisions-based record to the Committee/Group-based record.


30 April 2021 – System Fix – Update the placeholder for the Education Committee from the divisions-based record to the Committee/Group-based record.


20 April 2021 – Document updated to reflect the position title change for the Director, Student Administration to Director, Data, Integrity, Quality and Operations.


These changes are to ensure alignment with the recently published Academic Appeals Procedures and to update definitions to encompass University partner provider arrangements. The amendments to Clause (4) update definitions to include University partner providers; Clauses (20) and (21) changes are to clarify the principles for an initial review of an Advanced Standing decision and that the Academic Appeals Procedures will apply for any appeal of a reviewed decision; and the previous appeal procedures in Part D have been removed as these are no longer required.
