Summary of Changes from Previous Version
- Making the Allowance the default option for providing a University funded service. In-house provision is still available but as a special service requiring justification and review by the CIDO before approval;
- Ceasing the replacement of current lost or damaged handsets unless the operator has been approved for a University provided service under the previous point.
- Ceasing the upgrade of handsets unless the operator has been approved for a University provided service under the first point
- Reviewing remaining University provided services during 2018 with the aim of transitioning any unjustified service to an Allowance. This will allow up to 2 years for transitions to be affected.
