If you don't know the name of the document you are looking for, don't waste time browsing the list. The Policy Library has a dedicated Search Engine. Use it to search for documents related to your area of interest. You can search by topic (management area), keywords, partial titles and even do full text searches. You'll find a link to the search engine in the grey menu bar at the top of this page.
- Uncrewed Aerial System PolicyAerial drones have various uses in a university context including research fieldwork, learning and teaching, marketing and promotion and in some recreational settings. The use of drones is heavily regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CASA). The Drones Policy addresses CASA's regulations and provides for the safe and legal use of aerial drones in the University context.
- University Funded External Sponsorship PolicyThis policy aims to ensure that external/outgoing sponsorship from the University supports the University's reputation and brand. It outlines procedures and provides guidance to units that wish to activate external sponsorships to assist them in determining whether such a sponsorship supports the University.
- University Reviews PolicyThis policy explains the University's requirements and processes for the ongoing review of it's academic and administrative units, with a view to maintaining and enhancing quality.
- University Work Plan PolicyThe University Work Plan Policy exists as a requirement of the Western Sydney University Academic Staff Agreement 2022. The policy’s currency is maintained by the University Work Plan Committee.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence PolicyThis policy guides the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI tools at the University for the purposes of learning, teaching, assessment, research and administrative functions to benefit students, staff and society.
The policy applies to all students and staff (including casuals, conjoint, adjuncts and other categories of University staff appointments).
