Summary of Changes from Previous Version

21 November 2016 - Policy amended to reflect position title change of the Executive Director, People and Culture to Executive Director, Human Resources and unit title change of the 'Office of People and Culture' to the "Office of Human Resources".





8 July 2016 - policy amended to reflect the official name change of the University concurrent with the change to the University's Act and By-Law.

28 January 2016 - Amended policy to remove references to the expired Misconduct - Student Non-Academic Misconduct Policy and replace with the new Student Misconduct Rule.

10 February 2015 - Amended policy to reflect change of position title from 'Vice-Chancellor' to 'Vice-Chancellor and President'.

The definition of 'bullying' in clause 6b has been amended to make it consistent with the

definition of workplace bullying in section 789FD(1) of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) but so that

the definition under the policy continues to apply to both staff and students. Clause 6c has

been deleted to remove the reference to a 'Contact Officer' as this position no longer exists at

the University. Clauses 6d, 6e, 6f, 6g and 6h have been renumbered as a result of the removal of

clause 6c. Clause 22 has been amended to make it consistent with the definition of bullying in

clause 6b.
