Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The amendments to this Vice-Chancellor and President approved document are submitted for approval under Delegation HH15. The policy has been updated to reflect the new nomenclature of the Student Management System (SMS). The terminology changes (as relevant) include:


‘course’ to ‘program’; ‘unit’ to ‘subject’; ‘teaching session’ to ‘term’; ‘key program’ to ‘major’; ‘specialisation’ to ‘major’; ‘sub-major’ to minor’; ‘advanced standing’ to ‘Credit for Prior Learning’; ‘special consideration’ to ‘Disruption to Studies’; and ‘enrol in units’ to ‘register in subjects’.
