Summary of Changes from Previous Version

31 August 2022 – Update to Clause (11)a to refer to Schedule 2A of the Western Sydney University Act 1997 instead of Schedule 2 in relation to disclosure of material interests by Board members.


10 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – updated placeholders for Board of Trustees from Division-based record to Committee-based record.


25 February 2021 – The associated information documents: Conflicts of Interest Guidelines and Conflicts of Interest Procedures have been updated and are available under the Associated Information Tab.


15 February 2021 – Removed the ‘Note’ related to the roll-out of the Conflict of Interest Register that was included when the document was published as a source of information during the process. 


Key features of the revision include i) better clarity to purpose, roles, responsibilities, application, risk mitigation strategies, and process; and ii) the implementation of technological tools.
