Summary of Changes from Previous Version

12 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – update placeholder for Human Research Ethics Committee from Division-based record to Committee-based record.

1 July 2019 – Preliminary review completed – a full review is currently underway to be completed by 30 June 2020.

6 March 2019 – Deleted references to the redundant unit ‘Assessment and Graduation’ and replaced with ‘Examinations’.

23 November 2017 – Policy amended to remove the reference to the redundant unit title “Office of Capital Works and Facilities” and replace with “Office of Estate and Commercial”.

8 July 2016 - policy amended to reflect the official name change of the University concurrent with the change to the University's Act and By-Law.

28 January 2016 - Amended policy to remove references to the expired Misconduct - Student Non-Academic Misconduct Policy and replace with the new Student Misconduct Rule.

The policy has been reviewed and changes have been made to wording for clafification and to remove ambiguity in procedures. A separate breastfeeding policy is under development but in the interim breastfeeding is covered in this policy. References were updated to the new Work Health and Saftey Act 2011.
