Summary of Changes from Previous Version

10 September 2021 – Document updated to reflect the position title change for Executive Director, Financial Operations to Chief Financial Officer.


11 May 2021 – System Administrator fix – update the placeholder for the Finance and Investment Committee from the Division-based record to the Committee-based record.


22 March 2018 – Updated all references to the position title Director, Financial Operations renamed Executive Director, Financial Operations.

8 July 2016 - policy amended to reflect the official name change of the University concurrent with the change to the University's Act and By-Law.

There are no new additions to the policy, however it has been thoroughly reviewed to be more user friendly, duplications removed, clauses moved to correct sections of the policy which will prevent any misinterpretation by users and reinforce the responsible management of assets under the functional areas of the University.
