Summary of Changes from Previous Version

13 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – update the placeholder for University Executive from the Division-based record to the Committee/Group-based record.


6 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – update the placeholder for Academic Senate from the Division-based record to the Committee-based record.


20 April 2021 – Document updated to reflect the position title change for the Director, Student Administration to Director, Data, Integrity, Quality and Operations.


25 May 2020 – Inserted note and hyperlink related to the Policy Suspension or Variation Instrument – International Student Admissions Temporary Arrangements currently in place due to the COVID-19 crisis.


These changes relate to the implementation of the Academic Appeals Procedures, to encompass University partner provider arrangements and simplify the language for clarity. The changes include a definition of the University to include University partner providers; remove outdated references such as UniTrack; amend terminology and simplify some clauses; and amend Right of Appeal clauses (44 to 49) to remove duplication and align with the Academic Appeals Procedures.
