Summary of Changes from Previous Version
promotion of ethical scholarship;
* Facilitating resolution at Unit
Coordinator level for relatively minor
infringements (deletion of separate Head of
Program step);
* Processes for dealing with alleged
misconduct in an examination now aligned
with processes for misconduct in other
assessment tasks;
* Removal of "intent" (deliberate or
inadvertent) as test of seriousness;
* Consolidated appeals processes, with right
of appeal against all determinations, except
those of the Academic Senate Academic
Standards and Integrity Committee, which are
final;
* More explicit emphasis on importance of
record keeping.
