Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This policy amends the previous policy that had been approved by the Board of Trustees in 2001. The changes are to detail more clearly the kinds of honorary awards conferred by the University and the criteria that are to be applied. The Remunerational Nominations Committee takes over the role of recommending honorary awards to the Board.
