Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Item 5 has been changed to recognise non Bachelor honours qualifications.

(5) An applicant for admission to candidature for the degree of Research Masters (Honours) shall hold:

a. a bachelors honours degree; or

b. A bachelors degree, normally, and demonstration in an appropriate discipline or disciplines of a capacity for research deemed by the College Executive Dean to be acceptable for the purpose of proceeding to the degree.



In those cases where an applicant does not have a bachelors degree the Executive Dean may take into consideration professional training, relevant work experience, research or other creative output and seniority and standing in an area of endeavour; or

b. qualifications from a university or other tertiary institution deemed by the College Research and Higher Degrees Committee to be equivalent to the requirements set out above.
