Summary of Changes from Previous Version

14 February 2022 – Clause 84 amended to update reference and link to the associated information document ‘Research Higher Degree Appeals Procedures’ which has been subsumed by the current ‘Academic Appeals Procedures’

10 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – update placeholders for the Research and Higher Degrees Committee and Research Studies Committee from the Division-based record to the Committee-based record.

24 March 2021 – Amended typographical error in clause 93 – the reference to clause 91 has been changed to reference the clause 92.

10 July 2020 – Globally replaced all references to the “Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Engagement, Development and International” with the ‘Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Enterprise and International”.

4 August 2017 – Policy amended to reflect the position and unit title change of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, Research and Development to ‘Research, Engagement, Development and International ‘.

23 November 2016 - policy amended to delete references to the redundant title 'Academic Registrar's Office' and replace with the 'Graduate Research School'.

2 September 2015 - removed references to the redundant title 'UWS International' and replaced with Western Sydney International'.

10 February 2015 - Amended policy to reflect change of position title from 'Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Development' to 'Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, Research and Development'.
