Summary of Changes from Previous Version

29 July 2022 – Correct typographical error in clause 2c to read “Associate Dean, Research/Associate Dean Research and HDR means the Associate Dean who is responsible for research students in a specific School”. The text “responsible for research students in a specific” was previously omitted.

The Inherent Requirements Compliance Procedures detail the procedure through which concerns regarding student non-compliance with Inherent Requirements are evaluated and actioned. The procedures, in conjunction with the new Fitness to Practice Policy, were developed to address policy limitations in the way Schools are able to respond to situations where a student is failing, or may fail, to meet Inherent Requirements indicating compromised fitness to practice on placements, and posing a risk to public safety.
