Summary of Changes from Previous Version

10 September 2021 – Document updated to reflect the position title change for the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor to Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost.

The new Third Party Provider Policy (TPP Policy) was developed, in conjunction with the establishment of a centre Third Party Provider Committee (TPPC), based on a review conducted by the Third Party Provider Advisory Group (TPPAG), which reviewed current Third Party Provider (TPP) arrangements, existing policies and reporting lines. The expansion of relationships between the University and registered providers, and identified diverse practices across the Schools of the University in these relationships, presented the need for both a TPP Policy as well as a central committee that is responsible for oversight and advisory support for Schools and TPPs, including the College. The policy provides clear responsibilities and accountabilities for the management and quality assurance of TPPs and the principles for the delivery of Western Sydney University courses and units by TPPs, both onshore and offshore.
