Summary of Changes from Previous Version

22 February 2022 - Updated all references and links to the repealed ‘Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2015’ with the ‘Higher Education Standards   Framework (Thresholds Standards) 2021’.

21 January 2022 – System Administrator Fix – Clause 10 – inserted the placeholders and links to: Curriculum Approval Procedures, Curriculum Structure Procedures and Curriculum Advice to Students Procedures respectively.

21 October 2021 – System Administrator Fix – updated the placeholder in relation to the title change of the Advanced Standing Policy to Credit for Prior Learning Policy which did not update due to a cron task feature that prevented the automatic update for documents published as ‘future versions’.

25 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – inserted placeholders for glossary term “curriculum elements”.

As part of the 21C Project, working parties developed a set of Curriculum Principles in the second half of 2018. These principles were provided to the University community for consultation through an all-staff survey and forums in December 2018. The principles were revised and extended, in light of the feedback provided, and endorsed by APCAC as the basis for the new CDA Policy in March 2019. At the 7 July 2020 meeting, APCAC reviewed and updated the principles as part of the University’s response to COVID-19, including Hyflex design and delivery.
