Summary of Changes from Previous Version

15 December 2021 – System Administrator Fix – placeholder for the Credit for Prior Learning Policy updated. Prevously titled Advanced Standing Policy.


The amendments to this Academic Senate approved document are submitted for approval under Delegation HH15. Membership in clause 21 updated to align with the newly approved Terms of Reference (as a result of organisational changes and restructures) as approved by Academic Senate on 15 October 2021. Additional updates included to reflect the new nomenclature of the Student Management System (SMS). The terminology changes (as relevant) include:


‘course’ to ‘program’; ‘unit’ to ‘subject’; ‘teaching session’ to ‘term’; ‘key program’ to ‘major’; ‘specialisation’ to ‘major’; ‘sub-major’ to minor’; ‘advanced standing’ to ‘Credit for Prior Learning’; ‘special consideration’ to ‘Disruption to Studies’; and ‘enrol in units’ to ‘register in subjects’.
