3 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – Update the placeholder for Academic Senate from the expired Divisions-based record to the Committee/Group-based record. 30 April 2021 – System Administrator Fix – Update the placeholder for the Academic Appeals and Integrity Committee from the expired Divisions-based record to the Committee/Group based record. 1 November 2018 – References to the expired document ‘Research Higher Degree Appeals Policy’ deleted and replaced by an associated document ‘Research Higher Degree Appeals Guidelines’. The University provides students with the right of appeal against a range of academic decisions. To ensure consistency, equity for students and compliance to required standards, these procedures set out the protocols for submitting an appeal, especially where specific clauses are not contained in a University policy.
