Summary of Changes from Previous Version

16 April 2021 – Document updated to reflect unit title change for the Equity and Diversity Unit to Equity, Diversity and Support.


30 November 2020 – the document has been amended to reflect the renamed position title Executive Director, Human Resources to Chief People Officer.


11 March 2019 – removed embedded URLs and replaced with associated information placeholder URLs.


These Guidelines have been developed as a complimentary document to the Family and Domestic Violence Support Policy. These Guidelines consolidate information on existing supports available for staff, and include a focus on Manager and staff responsibilities, mandatory reporting requirement and staff and safety considerations. Their is no additional financial impact on University resources.
