Aerial drones have various uses in a university context including research fieldwork, learning and teaching, marketing and promotion and in some recreational settings. The use of drones is heavily regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CASA). The Drones Policy addresses CASA's regulations and provides for the safe and legal use of aerial drones in the University context.
