Summary of Changes from Previous Version

19 September 2018 – Policy amended to delete the redundant position title ‘Assessment and Graduation Manager’ and replace with ‘Senior Manager, Student Administration’.

During the review of the Examinations Policy in 2014 it was agreed that the procedures for Deferred Exams, currently published as part of the Special Consideration Policy, should be published as separate procedures linked to the Examinations Policy, which contains the relevant policy provisions. This also represents the first step in the staged implementation of the new Disruption To Studies Policy which will replace the Special Consideration Policy in late 2017.
