Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Gender Equality Procedures and Guidelines have seen minor revisions specifically to update parental and carer leave clauses (33-37). The changes simplify language around existing University parent and carer leave entitlements and provisions by clarifying that eligibility for all parental and carer leave is gender neutral and applies to diverse family and carer circumstances. Secondary carer leave clauses also reflect expanded provisions. These adjustments reflect a best practice model and align the policy document with related eligibility under the Workplace Gender Equality Agency Employer of Choice for Gender Equality Citation. Some other minor grammatical corrections were also made.
