Summary of Changes from Previous Version

22 June 2018 – Preliminary review completed – no change required.

The guidelines have been revised to provide for

Authorised Officers under the Student Misconduct

Rule (rather than a DAP) to authorise another

person, including a DAP or a Unit Coordinator, to

be an Authorised Nominee for the purposes of the

Guidelines; include a provision to clarify that

students who, as part of an outcome, are allowed

to resubmit an assessment should not gain any

academic advantage; clarify that a student does

not have a right to an internal review or appeal

against an outcome agreed under the Guidelines;

provide a step-by-step and plain English format,

consistent with the Rule; and include additional

definitions for clarity.
