06/05/2024: System Administrator Fix – inserted hyperlinks to clause 5a. – c. 30/04/2024: Minor Text Amendment – clause 4 and 17 – inserted hyperlinks to ‘Placement Procedures’, clause 5 rearranged sub-clause to be in alphabetical order and fixed sub-clause numbering to read ‘a. – o.’ instead of ‘a.- j.’ and ‘a. – e.’ In order to strengthen the policy expectations and procedural elements that should underpin all School processes and practices, the document was revised into two distinct documents: a policy document, and a procedures document. The procedures were largely transposed from the original Policy document to this new format, with revisions made where required as suggested through the pre consultations and closed consultation. The Office of General Council provided extensive feedback with reference to the inclusion and implications of paid Placements as part of this process. The revised policy was approved at Academic Senate [AS 23/01:3] on 24th February 2023.Placement Policy
