Summary of Changes from Previous Version

7 May 2019 – Preliminary review completed – no changes required at this time.

The policy's title has been amended to better enable students and staff to locate the document in the Policy DDS and to re-emphasise the need to prevent the adverse behaviour occurring; clause 14 has been amended to clarify the impacts on staff or students providing assistance where they observe or suspect an issue has arisen; titles have been updated; and new guidelines have been introduced to assist students to identify whether motting or hazing has occurred (clause 16).
