Summary of Changes from Previous Version

6 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – update the placeholder for Academic Senate and Board of Trustees from the Division-based record to the Committee-base record.


30 April 2021 – System Administrator Fix – Update the placeholder for the School Academic Committee from Division-based record to the Committee/Group based record.


22 June 2020 – Update references to the “Department of Education” to the new name “Department of Education, Skills and Employment”.


30 April 2020 – Amend clause 8 to update hyperlink and text to the Privacy Policy that replaced the link and reference to the expired Disclosure and Use of Students Personal Information Policy. 


8 March 2019 – removed embedded URLs and replaced with associated information placeholder URLs.


25 October 2017 – Policy amended to delete the redundant position title “Associate Director, Student Progression” and replace with “Director, Student Administration”.


From 1 January 2016, the University removed the position of Academic Registrar, and the position was not directly replaced by another position. Many references to the position were replaced in University policies as minor amendments under delegation. However these changes could not be amended under delegation and were considered and approved by the relevant approval authority. [Academic Senate AS 17:01/04]
