7 March 2024 – This Policy is retired with immediate effect. It has been subsumed by the revised version of the Curriculum Design and Approval Procedures – External Advisory Committee published on 7 March 2024 and approved by Academic Senate on 23 February 2024 [AS 24/01:04]. The administrative amendments to this document are submitted for approval under Delegation HH15. The policy has been updated to reflect the new nomenclature of the Student Management System (SMS). The terminology changes (as relevant) include: ‘course’ to ‘program’; ‘unit’ to ‘subject’; ‘teaching session’ to ‘term’; ‘key program’ to ‘major’; ‘specialisation’ to ‘major’; ‘sub-major’ to minor’; ‘advanced standing’ to ‘Credit for Prior Learning’; ‘special consideration’ to ‘Disruption to Studies’; and ‘enrol in units’ to ‘register in subjects’.Associate Degree Course Advisory Committee Policy
