Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The amendment to the Policy is to cover the

situation of students who are studying summer

session units when, in early January, they are

sanctioned for unsatisfactory academic

performance. The intention of the change is

that the students are able to complete the

units before the conditional enrolment or

exclusion etc takes effect.

The introduction of the "long summer" session

continuing into January has led to more

students being adversely impacted, and being

dis-enrolled from units while studying them.

The Policy change will allow them to complete

the summer session units.
