Summary of Changes from Previous Version

25 October 2017 – Document amended to delete the redundant position title “Associate Director, Student Progression” and replace with “Director, Student Administration”.


 


1. Remove the redundant position 'Academic Registrar' that was disestablished on 1 January 2016 and replace its functions by: (a) devolving certain functions to the Associate Director, Student Progression, including conducting a preliminary investigation and reporting the findings and recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor; (b) including the requirement for the report of the preliminary investigation under the Rule to be provided to the Vice-President, People and Advancement before it is provided to the Vice-Chancellor. 2. Remove/update references and links to the 'Western Sydney University By-Law 2005' and replace with the new 'Western Sydney University By-Law 2017' that came into effect from 17 March 2017. 3. Remove references to the 'Remuneration and Nominations Committee' and replace with the 'Board Executive Committee' as a result of the changes to the Western Sydney University By-Law effective 17 March 2017.
