Summary of Changes from Previous Version

25 May 2020 – Inserted note and hyperlink related to the Policy Suspension or Variation Instrument – International Student Fees and Refunds Agreement and the Policy Suspension or Variation Instrument – International Student Admissions Temporary Arrangements currently in place due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Changes in this new version:

- changing the definition of due date - clause 6

- removal of references to Streamlined Visa Processing as the scheme ended on 1 July 2016 - clause 15

- bringing forward the due date of fee payments for international students from the census date to the agreed start date of their study sessions - clauses 16-17

- introduction of a modest administrative fee to be withheld from students whose visa has been refused. This is allowable by Education Services for Overseas Students (Calculation of Refund) Specification 2014, section 9 https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2014L00907 - clause 24
