Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Major changes to non-refundable deposits for packaged students to safeguard UWS's Streamline visa Processing risk index. A higher deposit amount is expected to deter applicants who are not Genuine Temporary Entrants or Genuine Students and therefore carry a higher risk of visa refusal by the department of immigration.

Moving the refund process out of the agreement into the Procedures sections of the policy.

Additional revisions: non-refundable deposit for non-TAFE partners reduced to $5,000.

The reduction necessitated a refund scale for preliminary courses in a package delivered by UScollege or US International College. These refund amounts are modelled on existing Navitas examples and are contained in a table at the end of the document.
