Summary of Changes from Previous Version

6 November 2018 – Academic Senate Resolution: (AS18:05/06) – Approved to retire the Referencing Styles Policy which has been subsumed by the revised Assessment Policy – Criteria and Standards-Based Assessment published on 6 November 2018.


14 January 2016 - updated clauses and references to the Library website in relation the the rebranding of the University.

15 December 2015 - Preliminary review completed - no changes required.

Some minor editorial changes have been implemented with a view to greater standardisation and to move towards greater consistency and clarity for students.The additional text clarifies for students that incorrect referencing can lead to allegations of plagiarism.
