Summary of Changes from Previous Version

28 September 2016 - amended clause 47 - Office of Legal Counsel changed to Office of General Counsel.

4 August 2016 - policy amended to delete redundant title 'Academic Registrar's Office' and replace with 'Student Administration in the Student Experience Office'.

11 November 2015 - amended clause 23 - new policy title - Records and Archives Management Policy

2 September 2015 - removed references to the redundant title 'UWS International' and replaced with Western Sydney International'.

11 March 2015 - Amended policy to reflect the position title change of 'Relationships Manager UWS/VET (RM) to 'Manager, Tertiary Education Pathways and Partnerships (TEPP Manager)'.

10 February 2015 - Amended policy to reflect change of position title from 'General Counsel' to 'University Secretary and General Counsel' and change of position title from "Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic' to 'Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, Academic'

16 February 2015 - Preliminary review completed. Minor textual changes are currently underway.

The minor amendments are needed to reflect the revised leadership and governance arrangements put in place in 2012, and relevant provisions of the revised AQF Qualifications Pathways Policy.

The revisions to the Articulation Pathways Policy consist of changes that reflect the new leadership and management structure (Clauses 6,7,14,16,19,20,21,22,25,26,35,38,40,41,43, 44,45);

clarify some aspects of the role that the Relationships Manager, UWS/VET plays (clauses 15,32, 33) and incorporate the relevant provisions of the revised Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Qualifications Pathways Policy in relation to the normal amounts of advanced standing for articulation to a UWS award.(Clauses 17,18,36,46)

Some administrative changes to the ordering of clauses (definitions placed into alphabetical order and procedures removed from the Guidelines section to the Procedures section) have also been made.
