Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Clause 2 adds an introductory statement aligning this Policy with the UWS Academic Learning Standards Framework.



Clause 6 i provides a definition of threshold requirement.



Clause 8a makes a link betwen unit learning outcomes, assessment, course learning outcomes and the UWS graduate attributes.



Clause 10 provides for the setting of threshold requirements, and clarifies the award of various grades when threshold requirements are not met.



Clause 15a corrects an omission relating to the provision of learning guides.



Clause 32, Table 1, clarifies the definition of a Compulsory Fail (CF) grade which is used when the student has failed a threshold assessment component but has achieved a mark of 50 or more for the unit.
