Summary of Changes from Previous Version
8 July 2016 - policy amended to reflect the official name change of the University concurrent with the change to the University's Act and By-Law.
The following amendments have been made:
-References to Heads of School and College Deans have been changed to Deans/Deputy Deans of School, as appropriate.
-In Section 2 - Definitions: references to professional and teaching portfolios have been removed throughout the Policy. At the time the original policy was written, UWS was investigating the possibility of requiring staff to use professional/teaching portfolios; this did not occur.
-In Section 4 - Procedures: item 11 (Assessment) has been changed to indicate the program's use of criteria and standards-based assessment in the Foundations program.
-In Part B - Administration: references to the Office of Human Resources have been changed to the Office of People and Culture. The processes listed under OPC and TDU have been updated to reflect current processes.
-In Part C - Management Committee: membership of the committee has been updated to reflect recent changes to UWS structure, and frequency of meetings has been amended to once per year.
