Summary of Changes from Previous Version

30 July 2021 – Inserted the note and hyperlink to the new Policy Suspension or Variation Instrument  – COVID-19 Policy Response 2021 and referenced the expired Policy Suspension or Variation Instrument.


30 April 2021 – System Administrator Fix – Update the placeholder for the School Academic Committee from the redundant Divisions-based record to the  Committee/Group based record.


15 May 2020 – Inserted note and hyperlink for the Suspension or Variation Instrument – Special Consideration Policy currently in place due to the COVID-19 crisis.


6 March 2019 – Deleted references to the redundant unit ‘Assessment and Graduation Unit’ and replaced with ‘Examinations’.


The implementation plan for the new Academic Appeals Procedures noted that a targeted review of policies with appeals provisions would be required to ensure alignment with the new published procedures. This minor change involves the inclusion of a reference to the Academic Appeals Procedures in clause 43 under the Guidelines section.
