Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Examinations Policy suite had numerous changes throughout the pandemic, to respond to the urgent need to pivot to online examination delivery. Numerous updates were made to respond to the evolving situation, which resulted in several sections becoming disjointed and information hard to find. The changes ensure that the policy documents accurately reflects current processes and provide a clear guide to students on expectations and requirements as they relate to examinations, and include:
• Formalisation of the University’s multi-modal examination delivery model
• Incorporation of the Deferred Exam Procedures
• Internal movement of content between the Policy and the Procedures to ensure that the policy remains focused on principles and requirements, in particular conduct requirements, while the procedure operationalises the Policy with a stronger focus on process.
• Clearer references to the Assessment Policy
• Clearer terminology and consistent language
