Summary of Changes from Previous Version

6 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – update the placeholder for Academic Senate from the Division-based record to the Committee-based record.


30 April 2021 – System Administrator Fix – Update the placeholder for the School Academic Committee from the redundant Divisions-based record to the  Committee/Group based record.


The broad review of this Policy included simplifying the language for clarity and using broader terms to capture all coursework awards, clarifying the position for Research Higher Degree Posthumous Awards and to ensure intellectual property of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students is dealt with appropriately. The revised version of this policy was approved at the 22 June 2018 Academic Senate (AS18:03/06)
