Summary of Changes from Previous Version

28/04/2022: Position name changed from Dean, Graduate Studies and Research Development (Dean, GS & RD) to Dean, Graduate Studies and Researcher Development (Dean, GS & RD)


22 February 2022 - Updated all references and links to the repealed ‘Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2015’ with the ‘Higher Education Standards   Framework (Thresholds Standards) 2021’.


14 February 2022 – Clause 10 amended to update reference and link to the associated information document ‘Research Higher Degree Appeals Procedures’ which has been subsumed by the current ‘Academic Appeals Procedures’. 


The administrative amendments are submitted for approval under Delegation HH15. The University Secretary and General Counsel position has been separated into two positions. Functions previously assigned to the combined position have been reassigned to either the new "General Counsel" or "University Secretary" position as relevant. The function assigned to the University Secretary and General Counsel position in clause 25 has been reassigned to the "General Counsel" position as it relates to a legal function.
