Summary of Changes from Previous Version

10 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – updated placeholders for Board of Trustees and Board Executive Committee from Division-based record to Committee-based record.


4 August 2017 – Amendment – Remunerations and Nominations Committee replace by Board Executive Committee.


21 November 2016 - Policy amended to reflect unit title change of the 'Office of People and Culture' to the "Office of Human Resources".

8 July 2016 - policy amended to reflect the official name change of the University concurrent with the change to the University's Act and By-Law.

The policy now establishes the composition of the selection panel to consider nominations under the policy. The policy also proposes that the nominator, who may include the relevant Dean, Director, Pro-Vice Chancellor or Deputy Vice-Chancellor, may seek the direct approval of the Vice-Chancellor to appoint a nominated person by invitation. This will allow a timely decision in appropriate circumstances. The structure of the policy has also been revised.
