Summary of Changes from Previous Version

11 May 2021 – System Administrator Fix – update placeholders for Audit and Risk Committee; Senior Executive Group; and University Executive from Division-based records to Committee/Group-based records.


17 December 2019 – policy amended to delete references to the “Office of Quality and Performance” and replace with the new unit title “Office of Quality and Reviews”.


20 March 2019 – removed embedded URLwww.ipc.nsw.gov.aus and replaced with associated information placeholder URLs.


Minor changes have been made to the policy which sets out the requirements for formal reviews of all major services and functional areas to be carried out at least every five years. There have been drafting changes for the first time since the policy was approved in 2007, to ensure that it aligns with the Guidelines for University reviews approved by the University Executive. Oversight for reviews is placed with Senior Officers and the Senior Executive Group in place of the now obsolete Strategy and Quality Committee of the Board. The purpose and context section, and the policy statement, have been re-drafted to ensure they are clear and in the contemporary style used for University policies. Titles of committees, groups and units have been updated. The operating principles have been amended to reflect the current operating environment and approved processes.
