Summary of Changes from Previous Version

8 July 2016 - policy amended to reflect the official name change of the University concurrent with the change to the University's Act and By-Law.

23 March 2015 - Amended policy to remove references to the redundant position title of 'DVC & University Provost' and replace with 'Vice-President, People and Advancement'. Deleted clause 33d- reference to 'DVC Academic and Research' position and replace with 'DVC and Vice-President, Academic'.

12 February 2015 - Amended policy to reflect change of division/unit name from 'Information Technology Services' to 'Information Technology and Digital Services'

23 June 2014 - Policy amended to change the position title of the DVC Corporate Strategy and Services to DVC and University Provost.

Note - a review of timetabling at UWS was undertaken in 2011. Outcomes of that review are being implemented in 2012, and the policy will be reviewed as part of that process.

4 January 2012 - Minor amendments made to the document to reflect changes to position and unit titles and movement of responsibilities, as a result of the new leadership and management structure approved by the Board of Trustees and effective 1 January 2012. Clauses amended: 4, 7, 10, 18-21, 25, 27, 31-33, 49-53

7 March 2008 - the policy has been amended to clarify the word "day" when used as a deadline or timelimit. Clause Amended: 42b.

12 March 2007 - Policy updated to reflect changes to position titles.

1 August 2006 - Policy amended to reflect change of name of Social Justice Unit to Equity and Diversity Unit.
