Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Graduation Policy has been updated to include two minor changes, which were approved by Academic Senate at its 13 August 2021 meeting (resolution AS 21/04:03), but omitted in error in the final version of the policy when it was published in September 2021. Dean’s Medal changes: Amendment have been made to clauses (32) and (33) to reflect the change in process to now allow Honours students to be considered for a Dean’s Medal, unless they are recipients of the University Medal, as indicated in clause (36). Applying to Graduate: The term ‘applying to graduate’ has been changed to ‘registering to graduate’ in clauses (10) and (15) to reflect a change in this process, which was also included in the final version approved at Academic Senate in August 2021.
