Summary of Changes from Previous Version

4 January 2012 - Minor amendments made to the document to reflect changes to position and unit titles and movement of responsibilities, as a result of the new leadership and management structure approved by the Board of Trustees and effective 1 January 2012. Clauses amended: 24-25, 35



This version of the policy has the following changes:

Clause 10d provides for an additional type of key program, being a core set of units plus majors.

Clause 31 provides that a major may form part of the degree title and appear on the testamur provided that it is part of the degree specified in clause 10d, and was approved to do so when Academic Senate approved the course.

Clause 40 has been amended to ensure that it aligns with new clause 31.
