Summary of Changes from Previous Version

10 September 2021 – Document updated to reflect the position title change for the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor to Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost.


11 February 2021 – Updated the document to reflect the position title change for Director, Audit and Risk Assessment to Chief Audit and Risk Officer.


6 November 2020 – Amended clause 7 to correct typographical error – the text “the terms the terms” corrected to “between the terms”


The amendments to the Workplace Surveillance Policy provide for approval only by the Vice-Chancellor & President, on advice of the University Secretary & General Counsel. Only those classes of positions listed in clause 17 may request approval. The amendments ensure that a rigorous process is in place to ensure compliance with the Workplace Surveillance Act 2005.
