Summary of Changes from Previous Version

13 August 2021 – Delete note and hyperlink to the Suspension or Variation – Unit Outline and Learning Guides Policy that was in place in 2020 due to the Covid-19 crisis.

10 October 2019 – The associated information referenced in clause 28 ‘Learning Guide Guidelines’ has been updated to ‘Learning Guide Management System’.


The Office of Audit & Risk Assessment (Audit) released a report in July 2017 after reviewing exam processes. This review assessed the procedures in place to maintain examination integrity; the adequacy of internal control measures; and the level of compliance with University Examinations Policy and Procedures. This revised version of the Unit Outlines and Learning Guides Policy includes approved amendments to improve the accuracy and availability of Unit Outlines and Learning Guides and amendments as recommended by the Office of Audit & Risk Assessment (Audit).
